After an amazing and unforgetable night director Johnathan Paul stopped to chat with KGAF radio about the film and about the screening. You can hear the entire radio interview in the embedded audio below.

Director Johnathan Paul, Executive Producer Ethan Shirey, and cinematographer Michael B. Mullins recently visited the NBC News studios in Dallas, Texas. NBC wants to do a featured story about The Great Hanging film, it’s narrative, and development. Filming of this interview will take place in May once The Great Hanging has screened. Stay tuned for additional information.
With the Great Hanging Open Forum event taking place soon the Gainesville Daily Register reached out to director Johnathan Paul and the event and the documentary film. Datalus Pictures and director Johnathan Paul thank the Daily Register for writing about the upcoming event, but want to make sure one misquote was addressed.
There was a lot of information being discussed between Cathy and Mr. Paul, so it is completely understandable how such information can get crossed. We would like to state that the stage play quoted in the interview was entitled “October Mourning”, not “October Breeze”. Again, it is completely understandable how this information could get crossed, especially since Mr. Paul and Cathy were discussing both the stage play and the book written by Richard McCaslin entitled “Tainted Breeze”.
Datalus Pictures and Johnathan Paul thank Cathy Mounce and the good folks at the Gainesville Daily Register for taking the time to report on the Open Forum event.
